Hatem Mabrouk

Hatem Mabrouk is a Professor of International Business at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Blockchain Leader at the Center for Digital Evolution, EGADE Business School. In 2026, he represented Tecnológico de Monterrey at the inaugural United Nations Global Dialogue on AI Governance in Geneva, where he organized and delivered the official UN Side Event, “CISG Smart Contracts: AI Governance and Trade.” He also serves as a judge for the QS Reimagine Education Awards 2026. His work focuses on blockchain applications in business, law, artificial intelligence, and digital policy, and he is the founder of FMTO.com. Drawing on collaborations with organizations such as Bitso, IKEA, CEMEX, KidZania, and Kenworth, he bridges research and practice. His teaching has been recognized with Tecnológico de Monterrey’s Excellent Professor Award (2022, 2023, 2026) and selection to the Circle of Distinguished Professors (AY 2022–2023; 2024–2025).
